just yesterday, I suddenly lost access to my account. looking at my inbox, I got hit with two emails back-to-back. The first one was from Google Play saying my subscription was canceled for no apparent reason—I was fast asleep when it came through. then two hours later, while I was still asleep, OpenAI sent over the ticket (C-Zyb3H0nME3ns) saying I’m banned.
tell me how this isn’t an automated system mistake?

3 days ago, I received an unexpected Google Play subscription cancellation notice. My account was banned around 2 hours later, right when I was running a Goal command.
This account is for my personal use only — I access it on just 2 PCs and 1 mobile phone. I use Codex and the Goal feature regularly for legitimate work, with no violations of your Terms of Service. I believe this is a false ban likely linked to the subscription issue.
I have the same issue, but my account was first deactivated and then the subscription was cancelled. It happened 2-3 days after renewing my Pro subscription through Google Play.

I also use this account for personal use, I was working on a powerpoint presentation before I got banned so I doubt there was any violation of ToS.
I also checked spam and every mail in my inbox and I received no indication that my account was deactivated or that I violated any rule, I only noticed when trying to log back in the account on ChatGPT.
I was expecting more urgency to check the accounts affected by this but so far I’ve been disappointed
