Chennai based deeptech startup Solinas Integrity has raised $5.5 million in a Series A1 funding round co led by Mela Ventures and Hero Enterprise Family Office.

The round also saw participation from Luthra Group along with follow on investments from existing backers SVL SME Fund, managed by SBI Ventures, Rainmatter Capital, and 8X Ventures Fund I.

The fresh capital will be deployed to expand manufacturing capacity, accelerate product development, strengthen the company's software infrastructure, and support working capital requirements. Solinas also plans to expand its presence in international markets, particularly the Middle East and Southeast Asia, while developing new robotics solutions for the water, sanitation, industrial, and defence sectors.

Founded in 2018 by Divanshu Kumar and Moinak Banerjee, the IIT Madras incubated startup builds robotics and AI powered solutions for underground water and sanitation infrastructure. Its product portfolio includes Endobot for pipeline inspection, HomoSEP for mechanised sewer and septic tank cleaning, and SWASTH AI, an infrastructure intelligence platform that uses inspection data for asset mapping and predictive analytics.

According to the company, its solutions have been deployed across more than 30 cities in 15 Indian states and are also in use by Dubai Municipality.

The company said it is also expanding into adjacent sectors such as oil and gas and defence, where its robotics and inspection technologies can be applied to critical infrastructure.

Solinas operates in the water, sanitation and hygiene segment, where utilities increasingly rely on mechanised inspection and maintenance tools to reduce water losses and improve underground infrastructure management. The startup says its integrated robotics platform enables inspection, cleaning, digitisation, and lifecycle management of underground water and wastewater networks.
