Starting today, tasks assigned to Codex from Linear say “Thinking” and then “Codex failed to start.”

Then “Agent didn’t start. The request may not have reached the agent” in the Activity list.

I reconnected everything, and everything looks correct and authenticated, but no luck.
I’m able to create tasks from Codex cloud.

Linear uses “Codex for Linear integration” and it is not acknowledging the call, or timing out.

Anyone else experience this?

issue with the Codex–Linear integration rather than your authentication. If tasks created directly in Codex Cloud work, but Linear requests stay on “Thinking” and then fail to start, the integration may be timing out or not reaching the agent. Reconnecting everything was a good step; I’d check the integration status/logs and whether there are any current service issues.

I am having the same issue, tried restarting and reconnecting everything, and double checked that chatgpt cloud environments were set up correctly.

Facing same problem. Any tasks by @codex doesn’t work from @linear.applinear.app
