HighLeaf leads Rs 5 Cr pre-Series A round in FreightFox

FreightFox, a full-stack Transportation Management System (TMS) and control tower platform, has raised Rs 5 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by HighLeaf, with participation from Vijender Yadav, Puru Gupta and Aeravti Ventures. The startup had previously raised Rs 2 crore in an angel round in 2020 and Rs 4.5 crore in a seed round in 2023 from Aeravti Ventures. The company will use the fresh capital to expand enterprise sales and distribution channels and enter international markets, FreightFox said in a press release. Founded in 2020 by Nitish Rai, Sandeep Mukhopadhyay, Vikas Singh and Dhananjaya Shetty, FreightFox provides an AI-powered TMS and control tower platform for large manufacturing enterprises. Its platform covers freight procurement, execution, shipment tracking, invoice settlement and sustainability reporting. Based in Pune, FreightFox works with enterprises including AB InBev, Bridgestone, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Hero, CEAT and Raychem RPG. The company says its platform has managed more than 6 million trips and enabled over $2 billion in freight procurement. FreightFox competes with players such as Freight Tiger, Super Procure and Pando in India. The funding comes amid continued investor interest in India’s logistics and freight-tech sector. Companies such as BlackBuck, Porter and Cogoport operate digital platforms across freight, trucking and logistics.
