Gurugram-based wealth management company Centricity has raised Rs 280 crore (approximately $30 million) in its Series A funding round, led by SMBC Asia Rising Fund. Existing investors, including Lightspeed India Partners, Burman Family Office, RAAY Investments, Stride Venture and Innoven Capital, also participated in the round. Entrackr had exclusively reported about the deal in May this year. Centricity had earlier raised $4 million in 2022 and $18 million in 2024. The company plans to expand its operations in India and international markets, including through its GIFT City and DIFC-based offerings. The fresh funds will be used to improve its technology platform, expand its distribution network and grow its private wealth and NRI businesses. Centricity plans to add more than 50 private bankers in India and 35-40 NRI bankers.
