Hi, I’m a little late to the party, but I’ve been experiencing this since Jun 18 as well, I’m located in the US, have tried logout, log back in, using desktop app which is current, on a Windoze 11 system. Also using a Plus account.
I noticed the issue while trying to have it bring elements of one image into a second one. Testing also, changing elements of a single image in a fresh session and had the same issue. Creating a new image in a new session and I’m seeing the same result. All three fail with ‘Image generation failed’. The first two images were images generated by GPT Image 2 itself.
I am trying this in the web interface and I can edit a single image, and looks like sending two images works as well. On the web it is displaying ‘thinking’ while the desktop app is not, just ending in the failed generation.
In my case seems to be the Desktop app that is having this issue. And seems like it was after updating to the Jun 18 version of the app.

Image Generation still doesnt work even in Pro(paid version. I’m operating from Sri Lanka. Does others having similar issues?
Have the same issues in my Pro plan since 3-4 days. First Image Generation stops working inside CustomGPTs an now ist working just 1 in 10 times.
Same issues on 2 PCs an on Mobile. Sometime Windows Clients fire “To many Requests” Error in Badge. This needs o be fixed!

Apologies for jumping the gun. It might’ve blipped for a brief few minutes for me since I was seeing the issue appear again. But it’s working again for me. Thanks!

For those still experiencing the issue, could you try clearing your cookies and cache, then log back in and see if the problem persists?

Cleared all history/cookies/cache, restarted, relogged in: still experiencing issues generating or getting violation notices now??

Broken, again. As of the time of this post when I went to try and generate images. Getting suck on “one Last tweak” again, and I can’t even force it to stop.
I can’t get anything to be generated unless my prompt is super ultra specific.
