Hello OpenAI Community and Staff,
I have been a paying OpenAI subscriber for over 3 years. I renewed my subscription on June 21, but just four days later, on June 25, my account was suddenly suspended without any warning or clear explanation.
What has been even more disappointing is that every appeal I submitted received only an automated AI response stating that the original decision stands. I have yet to receive any evidence, specific reason, or confirmation that my case has been reviewed by a human.
After searching on X and the OpenAI Community Forum, I found that I am not the only one. Many users have reported similar unexpected account suspensions during the same period, raising concerns that legitimate accounts may have been caught up in an incorrect enforcement wave.
As someone who has trusted and paid for OpenAI’s services for more than three years and relies on ChatGPT and Codex every day for work, this has had a serious impact on my productivity and confidence in the platform.
I respectfully ask the Trust & Safety team to conduct a genuine manual review of my case instead of relying solely on automated responses. If my account was suspended in error, please restore it. Long-term paying users deserve transparency, due process, and access to human review.
Hey @cucumberEl! I understand how concerning this is, especially after being a long-time paid subscriber, renewing recently, and then losing access a few days later without a clear explanation.
Since you’ve already reached out to support, could you share the support case ID here? I can take a look from there.
Please only share the case number here, and avoid posting any private account, billing, or personal details publicly

Hey @cucumberEl! Appreciate you sharing the case ID.
I was able to find the support case and have added a follow-up there. Since this involves account-specific information, it’s best to keep the review in the support case rather than continuing across the community thread as well.
I’ll close this thread for now so the conversation stays in one place. We’ll continue from the support case.
