My research title is: Impact of Perimenopausal Symptoms on Quality of Life among Women Aged 40–55 One of my objectives is to determine whether there is a significant difference in the severity of perimenopausal symptoms across four domains (vasomotor, physical, psychosocial, and sexual) among women aged 40–55. I obtain four domain scores from the same individual. Initially, I planned to use Repeated Measures ANOVA, but my lecturer said it is not suitable because it is usually used for repeated measurements over time, and my study is not a time-based design. Now I am confused about the correct analysis approach. Is Repeated Measures ANOVA actually appropriate in this case (comparing different symptom domains scores within the same participants)? If not, what is the most suitable alternative test?
