Tested to generate this image for an another user. So instead of wasting, why not post it here. To all of you football (soccer) lovers (seems to be a lack of them).

How many of you have used Work in ChatGPT to generate images? I’ve started using it and whenever I submit an image prompt, the model in my case GPT-5.6 Sol uses the image-generation skill to refine the prompt before sending it to gpt-image-2.

If you haven’t tried it yet, I really recommend it. In my opinion, when GPT-5.6 Sol (in my case) uses image generator skill, gpt-image-2 can produce variety of visual results, even from very simple inputs from the user.

I’ve been doing some images with ChatGPT Work and GPT 5.6 Sol. What is interesting to see is how the model handles batches. There is a known behavior where the model doesn’t process a request for a batch workflow and combines all into a single image…

But it self corrected and provided the correct output eventually. This is not the case for the normal ChatGPT environment and more often than not returns a composite image.

I´ve started to notice more often that, especially women’s hair has weird blurriness in images. Something that bothers me a bit.

i think it made up its “facts” here but probably close?

like i doubt there’s that many painted portraits? or maybe it was bad phrasing in the prompt? though it does clarify in the infographic… not sure you can even get data on something like this

Are here portraiture images only as an art included? Artistic photography and art works? or does this include for example selfies?

There wasn’t a real source for those plotted numbers. Image generation invented the curves as an illustrative trend, which is why the footnote says the values are approximate. The portrait totals, peak, and decline are especially unsupported. I should not have presented it like a sourced statistical chart.

Some defensible source material exists for a replacement:

• Photography began in the 1820s–1830s, with Kodak documenting later technical milestones such as its 1975 digital-camera prototype.
• A 2021 academic review reports that more than 90% of contemporary photographs are taken with smartphones, based on cited industry estimates.
• Modern annual-photo totals are themselves estimates; a 2026 industry forecast projects growth through 2030 and roughly 20 trillion photographs stored cumulatively by then.
• I found no credible global year-by-year dataset for the number of painted or drawn portraits produced, so that line cannot honestly be charted as numerical fact.

The proper version should either be labeled “conceptual, not to scale” or chart photography estimates alone and show portraiture as a qualitative historical band rather than fake quantities.

Not lately. No smartphone, and the lens on the Nikon went bad. At least I’m hoping it’s the lens. I need to take it into a shop, but I’ve not made the effort yet. I do miss public photography, though. A good excuse to get out and “touch grass” as you say. I’ve not done a ton of AI art recently either as I’ve been working on other stuff.
