Krea has added Seedance 2.5 to its video generation platform, with BytePlus Global credited for the model. It joins Veo 3.1, Kling, Runway, and Sora 2 in the same workspace, giving users access to one of the most capable AI video models available without managing separate accounts.
What Seedance 2.5 actually does
The headline capability is a 4K, 30-second clip with native audio generated in a single pass, up from roughly 15 seconds on Seedance 2.0. That gap matters because most AI video models top out at a few seconds per generation and rely on stitching multiple clips together, which is where consistency breaks down: visible seams, disrupted pacing, and characters that drift between shots. A genuine 30-second single-pass generation skips that problem entirely.
The model also accepts up to 50 multimodal reference inputs per generation: 30 images, 10 videos, and 10 audio clips, compared with around a dozen on Seedance 2.0. Most competing models accept a handful of reference images. Fifty gives enough headroom to carry a character, a location, a product, a lighting look, and a sound bed into the same shot simultaneously.
Features worth knowing
- 30-second native generation: One continuous pass, well past the few-second ceiling most models hit today.
