Is LLM context just an extended prompt?
Does pasting the contents from skills files and project working files into a prompt, in front of the question (making the prompt very long), have the same effect as configuring the IDE to include those resources as "context" for the LLM? Does asking a second question in the same chat session have the same effect as starting a fresh session but pasting the previous questions and answers (including the LLM reasoning) in the new prompt, along with the new question? In other words, outside of the training stage, does the LLM process different kinds of input differently, or is it all just combined into a single (one-dimensional) sequence of tokens that it appends to?
